Nothing is more credible than a product recommendation given by someone you trust. In next to no time, the information or advice becomes product advertising. In other words, personal recommendations are a powerful tool that more and more companies are taking advantage of. Whether on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook or in a blog, these influencers are the gateway to the customer and, therefore, the key to greater success.
But what role can they play in the marketing mix? How can companies get bloggers on their side and what would the resulting collaboration look like? What interesting information do bloggers have about target groups and how can you tell whether a blogger is really an influencer? Lots of questions. The answers will be supplied by BlogUps during Nordstil from 13 to 15 January 2018.
The initiative is aimed at both retailers and exhibitors and gives them the chance to enter into a dialogue with experienced bloggers, as well as to gain valuable insights and generate new impulses. BlogUps stands for ‘Blog Up your Business’ and the name says it all. BlogUps is organised by Michaela Hoechst-Lühr. Her blog, ‘herzelieb.de’, is one of the most widely read food blogs in Germany and she ranks as one of the country’s most experienced food bloggers. Apart from her, other bloggers will be on hand at Nordstil, to enter into discussions with retailers and exhibitors, and to generate new synergies.
