For the retail trade, the Sommer-Nordstil is the ordering date for the fall, winter and Christmas business, and in some cases already for the following spring and summer business. Since the Hamburg exhibition halls in the A area are currently used for the most part as the central Corona vaccination Center of Hamburg, the Summer Nordstil will be held for the first time exclusively in the B halls of the exhibition grounds. "With its range of products, Nordstil is set as an order and inspiration platform for exhibitors and retailers alike and is an important personal meeting place for the industry, especially at the current time. Since only the B halls are available to us due to the current Corona situation, we are working out a suitable concept for the upcoming event in consultation with industry representatives. In addition, the health protection of all trade fair participants continues to take the highest priority," says Philipp Ferger, Group Show Director Consumer Goods Fairs Nordstil and Tendence.
After consultation with a large number of exhibitors and in view of the current infection rates as well as the developments in vaccination, a postponement of the January date was discarded.
The next Summer Nordstil will take place from July 24 to 26, 2021.
Nordstil is the original order platform for Northern Germany and Scandinavia. In the summer of 2020, it was one of the first consumer goods fairs to be held since the outbreak of the pandemic, expanding its focus to cover the whole of Germany and offering a comprehensive product range divided into the four product areas of Home & Garden, Style & Design, Gifts & Stationery and Jewellery & Fashion. For the retail trade, it is the order date for the autumn, winter and Christmas business as well as for the subsequent spring and summer business.
