More than 300 exhibitors have already declared their participation. The majority of exhibitors are companies in the home and decoration sector and lifestyle products by well-known designers and manufacturers. In Hall A1, exhibitors such as Exner, Gilde Handwerk Macrander or Posiwio are planned to present their new product ideas for the Home & Garden. Companies such as Klatt Objects, The Moshi or Trademark Living are planned in the Style & Design and Home & Garden sections of Hall A3. Visitors will find the hottest trends from the Gifts & Stationery, Jewellery & Fashion and Style & Design segments in Hall A4, for example at Accentra, Donkey Products, Good old friends, Hansekind, the Herforder Werkstätten, Moosmed or Sence Copenhagen.
Due to the short lead time, the associated lower number of registrations and a complete replanning in the western part of the Hamburg fair ground, the individual products are this time not structured according to product areas as usual. This offers retailers new opportunities: They will be able to discover more novelties from product segments that complement each other and thus receive additional inspiration for their additional assortment. Moreover, exhibitors who specialise in customisable products can be found at the upcoming Nordstil in advance via the exhibitor search.
"With the coming Nordstil, we are planning a cautious, but also urgently needed restart of the trade fair calendar. Due to the short lead time, but also because of the density of trade fair dates in September, the number of exhibitors at the Corona edition of Nordstil this late summer will, as expected, be lower than on the previous summer dates. For this reason, we have deliberately decided to move the order fair to the A halls. These are the most modern halls on the exhibition grounds with excellent air conditioning and an optimum supply of fresh air. All the more reason for us to be pleased that, retailers now have a platform to place orders on site and to network personally, but due to the Corona with much shorter lead times than at previous Summer Nordstils," says Susanne Schlimgen, Director Nordstil.
The next Nordstil will take place from 5 to 7 September 2020.
Nordstil is the original order platform for Northern Germany and Scandinavia. In the summer of 2020, it will be one of the first consumer goods fairs to be held since the outbreak of the pandemic, expanding its focus to cover the whole of Germany and offering a comprehensive product range divided into the four product areas of Home & Garden, Style & Design, Gifts & Stationery and Jewellery & Fashion. For the retail trade, it is the order date for the autumn, winter and Christmas business as well as for the subsequent spring and summer business.
