At Nordstil, retailers will meet exhibitors from Germany, Scandinavia, the Netherlands and other European countries. Clearly structured into sections – Home & Garden, Style & Design, Gifts & Stationery and Jewellery & Fashion – this order platform will be offering a wide spectrum of products and topics as well as plenty of inspiration and innovative items.
“As we reach the end of the early bird discount period, 80 per cent of Nordstil has been booked up already. The product range of this order platform makes it a genuinely positive experience, with inspiration for both exhibitors and retailers as well as opportunities to place orders. This year, due to the current situation and the resulting cancellation of Tendence, Nordstil will have a dedicated area for large-volume suppliers, featuring new product lines for spring and summer 2021,” says Philipp Ferger, Tendence and Nordstil Group Show Director. “At the same time,” he continues, “we will be expanding visitor marketing to cover the whole of Germany.”
“Nordstil will be one of the very few platforms this summer where exhibitors and retailers can have face-to-face discussions and agree what the current priorities are, what can be delivered and how they can best master the current challenges together. We are doing our very best to make sure that Summer Nordstil 2020 will happen,” says Susanne Schlimgen, Director Nordstil.
Exhibitors such as Affari, Depesche Vertrieb, Gilde Handwerk Macrander, Grafik Werkstatt, Kleine Flitzer, Margarete Steiff, Pad Home and Susanne Boerner will be presenting innovative products associated with furniture, home accessories, interior design and gifts in the A halls of the Hamburg exhibition grounds.
The B halls will focus on the garden, kitchen, jewellery and fashion, as well as beauty and wellness. This is where new product ideas will be presented by companies such as Bollweg, Campur, Elysee Uhren, Malique, Umjubelt, Vosteen and Wajos.
Trends and events
Opportunities to see and hear what’s important for tomorrow’s point of sale: Nordstil visitors can look forward to numerous trend presentations, talks and events.
These will include the Northern Lights, which have long been a firm fixture at the trade fair. Creative brands and design studios will be represented in this dedicated area in Hall A3. Featuring exquisite and often unexpected product ideas, they’ll be the trendsetters at Nordstil, pointing the way towards new, contemporary product lines. At the same time visitors can receive unadulterated inspiration from speakers in the Nordstil Forum presentation area, the meeting point for trends and know-how in Hall B1.0. This will include trend presentations, showing how new products can be highlighted within a store. Another area that shouldn’t be missed is the Buddelhelden (beverage specialists) section with its exquisite wines and spirits.
Nordstil visitors are advised to plan in some time at the Village in Hall A4, with its joint presentation by innovative companies, showing how to use different occasions to create a special wow factor over and over again, each time leading to fresh customer loyalty.
The next Summer Nordstil will take place from 25 to 27 July 2020, and the next Winter Nordstil from 16 to 18 January 2021.
Nordstil is the order platform for Northern Germany and Scandinavia. Also, it will be the very time at Nordstil that bulk retailers can pre-order merchandise for spring and summer 2021. Nordstil features a wide product range, covering four segments: Home & Garden, Style & Design, Gifts & Stationery and Jewellery & Fashion. Nordstil is the ordering event for Northern retailers for autumn, winter and Christmas, as well as for spring and summer 2021.
