Exhibitor growth: already 630 confirmations for Winter Nordstil

12 Oct 2020

The Winter Nordstil will anchor in Hamburg from 16 to 18 January 2021. Compared to the summer edition in September 2020, more than twice as many exhibitors have already declared their participation. With the Village, the Buddelhelden and the Nordlichter, visitors can once again expect a large number of special presentations.

From 16 to 18 January 2021, the Nordstil opens its doors for the second time since the Corona break. More than twice as many exhibitors as at the previous summer event have already declared their participation. "With Nordstil, a piece of normality has returned and the response to the event from both visitors and exhibitors was very positive. It is all the more pleasing that we have already received 630 declarations of participation at Winter Nordstil," says Philipp Ferger, Group Show Director of Nordstil.

In terms of hall occupancy, the Winter Nordstil is expanding and has five more hall levels than the summer edition. The largest area in terms of floor space, Home & Garden, covers halls A1 and B1.0 to B4.0, while the Gifts & Stationery section (Hall A4) offers visitors a wide selection of handicrafts, design and stationery articles and toys. In the Style & Design area (Hall A3), well-known designers, manufacturers and brands present their lifestyle products. In the Jewellery & Fashion section (Hall B7), lovers of accessories and cosmetics can expect a diverse selection.

"International new exhibitors at the last event, such as David Fussenegger or Umbra, have immediately agreed to be on board again this winter. But also brands like Blomus, who had to skip the summer edition due to Corona, will be taking part in the next Nordstil," says Susanne Schlimgen, Director Consumer Goods Fairs regional. A joint stand curated by the Danish Chamber of Crafts will also provide additional Scandinavian flair.

Return of further special areas

With the Village and the Nordlichter, further special areas besides the Buddelhelden are part of the Nordstil again after the unique break in summer.

The Nordlichter promotion area is all about unusual product ideas using unusual materials from start-ups, young designers and small manufacturers. Also the area of the Buddelhelden with their selected wines and spirits is not to be missed. The special Village area is also celebrating its return with eight participants.

The Winter Nordstil will take place from 16 to 18 January 2021.
