"Nordstil has already shown twice that physical fairs in pandemic times are not only possible but also safe. Due to the current situation and according to the valid rules currently in Hamburg, Nordstil will take place as a so-called 2G event (vaccinated or recovered). We are very pleased that with this measure and with our hygiene concept, we will be able to make the personal encounters at the fair in January possible again on our traditional date at the beginning of the year", says Susanne Schlimgen, Director Nordstil.
The measures already take effect before the event. For example, personalised ticket purchases are only possible online in the run-up to Nordstil. All visitors must be vaccinated or recovered and provide proof and legitimation upon entry to the event. In addition, the general hygiene and safety regulations must be confirmed when purchasing the ticket and personal contact details must be provided.
Anyone who has provided proof of 2G (vaccinated or recovered) at the entrance will receive a wristband. With this, visitors have free access to the catering and can use the fast lane for entry on the following day.
During the fair, visitors will regularly receive comprehensive information on hygiene regulations on the grounds at all entrances, at various junctions and via loudspeaker announcements. The ventilation system in the event halls constantly ensures the exchange of hall air with fresh air, even during set-up and dismantling. Extensive facilities for hand disinfection, extra-wide boulevards within the halls as well as floor markings ensure a sufficient distance of one and a half metres. It is compulsory to wear medical mouth and nose protection in the exhibition halls. All regulations of the safety and hygiene concept are based on the current status of official requirements and regulations. Possible changes will be made in close consultation with the state authorities and communicated in a timely manner. All information is available on the Nordstil website.
The next Winter Nordstil will be held 15-17 January 2022 and the next Summer Nordstil will be held 23-25 July 2022.
