Where taste makes history: The GenussGipfel joins Nordstil

20 Nov 2025

When craftsmanship meets culinary excellence, Hamburg becomes the capital of good taste: From 10 to 12 January 2026, Nordstil Winter marks the grand opening of the new trade fair year in northern Germany – and with the GenussGipfel on 11 and 12 January, the who’s who of the delicatessen industry will gather at Hamburg Messe. Hall B2.OG is where the big names in the gourmet food industry meet: manufacturers, producers and retailers who are rethinking enjoyment – authentically, boldly and with great taste.

The renowned industry event is celebrating its debut at Nordstil, writing the next chapter of its success story in Hamburg. Two days packed with aromas, inspiration and discovery await, crowned by a special highlight: on Monday, 12 January 2026, the “Product of the Year” will be awarded on the Nordstil Forum stage – selected from among the GenussGipfel exhibitors.

The GenussGipfel takes visitors on a culinary journey across regions, aromas and traditions – starting right here in Hamburg: The local Gesellschaft für Investitionen und Spirituosen brings a touch of the Hanseatic city into its Bene Gin bottles – maritime, clear and with a fresh note of juniper. A little further southwest, N8Schicht from Oldenburg refines the flavour of “home” with hearty BBQ spices, aromatic marinades and handcrafted tools for authentic grilling moments.

Sweet inspirations come from the southeast of Austria: Zotter Schokolade is among the pioneers of the international bean-to-bar movement – chocolate manufacturers who manage the entire process from bean to bar themselves. The brand stands for artisanal quality, original flavour concepts and customisable packaging with a unique sense of humour. “We decided to take part in the GenussGipfel at Nordstil to reach new audiences. We want to meet customers looking for exceptional taste and distinctive gifts. For us, northern Germany holds a lot of potential and purchasing power,” says Helmut Mayr, Head of Sales at Zotter Schokolade.

An experience for all senses

A scent of Brittany, Provence and the Côte d’Azur surrounds the products from Le terroir, a company offering French delicacies such as fine ciders, seafood, pâtés, pralines and hand-harvested fleur de sel. Viani brings a touch of Italian dolce vita to Hamburg with pasta, antipasti, truffle creams and handcrafted pestos that taste like a holiday in Italy. This is complemented by exquisite grappa from Distilleria Marzadro, a family-run distillery in Trentino known for its aromatic liqueurs and refined spirits.

The CH Group – Global Services LDA showcases the richness of Portuguese cuisine: delicately marinated seafood, aromatic pastes and spicy salsas, refined by the sun and sea of the Atlantic. Deligreece, also exhibiting at Nordstil, completes the Mediterranean line-up with olive oils, honey, herbs and sauces that capture the diversity of the Aegean.

Adding a transatlantic twist to the Genuss Gipfel, American Heritage presents fine food classics from North America – from maple syrup and BBQ sauces to popcorn, cupcakes and kitchen accessories made in the US. From further east, Kiyoko Craft brings a modern interpretation of Japanese sake to Hamburg: minimalist in form, natural in ingredients, perfectly balanced in flavour – a true celebration of craftsmanship.

Following Asian precision comes Scandinavian clarity: Dream of Sweden refines Nordic chocolate creations with delicate truffles, while Fangst from Denmark reimagines canned fish as modern tapas from the North – minimalist in design, rich in taste.

Nordstil Winter 2026 will take place from 10 to 12 January at the Hamburg Messe fairgrounds. The GenussGipfel runs parallel on 11 and 12 January in Hall B2.OG. A full list of GenussGipfel exhibitors is available online

Nordstil Summer will take place from 25 to 27 July 2026.
