Collaborative, business-building, profitable: Summer Nordstil is a fixed order date in the North
It is the hub in the north: The industry met again in Hamburg for this year's Sommer Nordstil from 22 to 24 July. More than 9,000 visitors were inspired by new products and exciting ranges for the coming autumn, winter and Christmas season. 600 exhibitors from 21 countries and a jam-packed event programme invited visitors to stock up on expertise, track down trends, network and place orders.
Full speed ahead! Sommer Nordstil gets the consumer goods industry in Hamburg together again
This coming Saturday, Sommer Nordstil will once again fly its flag in Hamburg. The regional trade fair is the most important ordering event in northern Germany and southern Scandinavia. Around 600 exhibitors are drawn to the Hanseatic city to present their unique product worlds and innovative designs at Nordstil. The industry meets there to network, to order and to exchange specialist knowledge.
Freshly caught cargo: Forum and nmedia offer valuable industry knowledge and hands-on tips at Nordstil
Inspiring expert lectures, practical workshops and exciting trend reports: the Nordstil Forum will once again offer a rich and diverse fringe programme this summer. In Hall B1.0, visitors can look forward to exciting insights into current industry topics and creative ideas for the point of sale on all three days of the fair. The order and content platform nmedia will once again be represented with a stand in Hall A3.0 at Nordstil and will showcase online solutions for industry and trade.
Journey into the coming season: Trend Islands and Storetour show worlds of experience for the point of sale at Nordstil
Where is the journey heading in the upcoming season? To this, the Trend Islands adjacent to the Nordstil Forum in Hall B1.0 will present inspiration at the Sommer Nordstil 2023. These will showcase products from selected Nordstil exhibitors in an imaginative way and provide retailers with concrete design tips for the point-of-sale. Creative ideas will also be provided by the first-ever guided Storetour in Hamburg, which will present original store concepts in the Hanseatic city.
Chinese impulses for the future of retail – invitation to the Digital Academy’s second edition
What will be in demand in the future? And via which channels will the retail of tomorrow take place? The Digital Academy provides insights into the future of retail and takes a look at China. The second strongest economy of the world is considered a pioneer in retail, online as well as onsite. Moreover, according to a report by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in May this year, the country turns to consumption e again since the reopening after the pandemic and is thus currently driving growth in the entire region. Beryl Hsu, Editor-in-Chief of AD China, and Wayne Xiang, founder of United Home and Likuai China, provide insights into a market of the future.

From 22 to 24 July 2023, the summer edition of Nordstil fair will once again dock in Hamburg and will bring along an exciting new feature: the area Anleger B3 will become the central meeting point for new exhibitors and returners. With a freshly designed exhibition area, all product areas of Nordstil will be presented in an eye-catching way. The area promises a unique atmosphere to discover exciting trends, original products and valuable business contacts.
Compass for innovative designs and creative impulses: Nordlichter and Village show the flag again at Nordstil
The North is calling! From 22 to 24 July, the Sommer-Nordstil will take place in Hamburg again. There, hall A3 will attract trade visitors with its inspiring special areas: The Nordlichter provide groundbreaking impulses, creative designs and innovative product worlds for the coming ordering season. And, once again, the Design Zentrum Hamburg will be there with sustainable collections. Another highlight of the fair is the Village, where ten attractive brands provide imaginative ideas for the point of sale and prove how strong the community of the regional order fair is.
Launch of the Digital Academy: New series of online events for manufacturers and retailers kicks off with topic of sustainability
Sustainability is becoming increasingly important for many consumers in their purchasing decisions. What can manufacturers and retailers do to be successfully sustainable? And how can sustainability contribute to their business success in the long run? Answers to these questions are provided by the first episode of the new Digital Academy of consumer goods fairs under the umbrella of Messe Frankfurt. The new series of events, which is offered online in German and English, gathers expert knowledge, inspiring food for thought and practical advice with exciting impulse lectures every two months throughout the year. Participation in the 55-minute events is free of charge.
Summer Nordstil 2023: Hub of the North with strong exhibitor participation and new exhibition area
After the successful Winter Nordstil, the trade fair will once again set course for Hamburg from 22 to 24 July 2023. A new feature is Anleger B3, which translates to jetty B3, an area for exhibitors who are dropping anchor at Nordstil for the first time or again after a break due to Corona. With Nordstil Forum and Village, Nordlichter and Buddelhelden as well as the Design Zentrum Hamburg, well-known partners and formats complement the summer fair with fresh impulses, lectures and special presentations. Exhibitor response to the summer edition of the fair is already high: four months before the fair opens, around 90 percent of the space has already been booked. Strong brands, innovative start-ups and creative manufactures are waiting to be discovered by visitors.
Energetic start to the new business season - exuberant order joy dominates Winter Nordstil 2023
14,500 visitors were delighted with the creative product worlds and original and modern approaches of the 720 exhibitors from Germany and abroad. On the trade visitor and exhibitor side, the order fair recorded very high satisfaction ratings. The Nordstil Forum provided valuable impulses on current topics such as sustainability and digitalisation. The retail trade in the north is thus well prepared for successful, sustainable business in the coming months.
