The most memorable moments of enjoyment are often found in the small things: a shared dinner, a good glass of wine or a carefully chosen gift. Retailers are increasingly looking for products with character – honestly made, surprising in flavour or design, and created to be either gifted with pleasure or kept for oneself. At Nordstil, these different worlds come together naturally – from delicatessen products and body care to stationery, jewellery, and accessories.
The German start-up Uhlala Bande (Hall A2, Stand A61) taps into a current food trend with its Crispy Chili Oil, combining different chilli varieties in a carefully balanced recipe full of spice, texture and depth of flavour. Also in Hall A2, Jalall d’Or (Stand B49) presents organic chocolates, candied fruits and nut varieties that pair particularly well with wine and refined aperitif moments. Hof Löbke (Hall A2, Stand C12) highlights the close connection between culinary delights and provenance. The family-run business brings a wide assortment ranging from jams and spices to syrups, liqueurs and ready-made dishes – much of it produced in-house and inspired by seasonal ingredients. Complementing this are the individually curated spice blends and gift sets by Liebelei Gewürze (Hall A2, Stand A28), combining teas, spices and personalised gifting ideas.
Body care for small moments of relaxation
Body care, too, is increasingly shaped by conscious choices – with products that go beyond functionality and create small moments of calm throughout the day. The focus lies on clear and simple recipes, high-quality ingredients and products designed to bring wellbeing into everyday routines.
Dutch exhibitor Tboxx (Hall A1, Stand G64) presents the JANZEN brand at Nordstil, featuring room fragrances, body care products and gift sets centred around warm scent worlds and simple rituals for daily life. At its heart is the idea of consciously making time for memorable moments and the comfort of home. Moosmed Natural Cosmetics (Halle A3, Stand C90) follows a more functional approach. Its medical natural soaps and skincare products are entirely made in Germany and based on skin-identical ingredients, vitamins and peptides.
Mari & Anne from Franconia in Southern Germany (Hall A4, Stand C05) demonstrates how natural cosmetics and social responsibility can go hand in hand. Their handcrafted soaps, oils and body butters based on grapeseed oil are produced in collaboration with inclusive workshops and combine minimalist recipes with regional production.
Gifts that speak to both heart and mind
Some products stay with people for longer, either because they are handmade, have personal significance, or have been chosen deliberately. Especially within the Finery & Gifts segment, visitors will discover products that create emotional connection while standing out through thoughtful design.
Spanish brand Soruka (Hall A3, Stand A02) transforms leftover leather into colourful bags and wallets, making every piece unique. Handcrafted and intentionally individual in appearance, the products combine material awareness with expressive design. The jewellery by Sabrina Pappalardo (Hall A3, Stand C42) also focuses on personality over fast consumption. The pieces carry messages and small reminders intended to encourage moments of pause in an otherwise hectic everyday life. At Paladise (Hall A3, Stand A82), paper and design are given a lasting sense of value. The handcrafted greeting cards and bookmarks by Origamo are often kept, framed or repurposed – turning small gestures into something enduring.
